FREE MEMBERSHIP & COACHING

for all new bowlers! *

We welcome new members of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of skill and experience.  So much so that new bowlers can join our club totally free of charge.  Not only that but our qualified coaches will be happy to provide free coaching for anyone who wants it.  Finally, we will initially provide new members with all the equipment they need, so there's nothing for you to spend.  In other words: you simply can't lose from giving bowls a try at Finchley!

Throughout the bowls season (from mid-April to late September) there are many chances to get involved as much, or as little, as you like.  From informal practise "roll-ups", friendly matches with other clubs, through to opportunities to play in various competitive games in Finchley District and Middlesex County competitions and leagues.

Over the years Finchley Bowling Club has has enjoyed some notable successes, including having players reach the national 'all-England' finals on several occasions.   More recently, in the last 5 years the club has won the 'President's Cup' (fought for amongst over 20 teams from the 'Finchley District' section of Middlesex) and has seen some members reach and win finals in District Pairs and Triples competitions, plus the Middlesex county 'unbadged' singles competition.

Most important of all, the club provides the means for all of its members to have fun and get some gentle exercise in a friendly social environment.  There is also a winter social calendar of events.  Why not give it a go!

* Membership for 2012 is free to all new bowling members, unless transferring in from a neighbouring bowls club.  Contact us on the above details (top right) to apply.
